Pianist Richard Sears celebrates the release of his first recording for Fresh Sound Records. This performance will feature Sears's original compositions and jazz standards. Joining Richard will be Zach Ostroff on bass and Evan Hughs on drums.

The Dan Wilensky Group employs diverse original compositions and reworked standards (Porter, Kern, et al.), the band will explore the many textures of this “radical” instrumentation made “safe” by Sonny Rollins some 60 years ago. Something old, something new, and everything in between.

Madeline Eastman + Randy Porter Duo Unplugged

Madeline Eastman and Randy Porter’s long-time musical collaboration produced a critically acclaimed CD last year entitled “A Quiet Thing”.  It also landed Madeline on Downbeat Magazine’s Annual Critics Poll for the fourth time! They will "unplug" for their duo performance at Maybeck...no amps, no chords, no microphones!

They’ll be putting their freewheeling spin on songs by Steven Sondheim, Chick Corea, Burt Bacharach, Randy Newman, The Beach Boys and, of course, the Great American Songbook!
