John Burke, piano
Mike Jones studied with Jorja Fleezanis and Andor Toth. With John Burke and cellist Gwyneth Davis, he was a longtime member of the piano trio I Gatti Freschi. He is second violinist of the Jupiter String Quartet, of which he was a founder.
John Burke studied with Irwin Freundlich in New York and took part in the Bay Area bebop scene between 1958 and 1963. He was the pianist in I Gatti Freschi and has accompanied local mezzo-sopranos Elliott (Elspeth) Franks and Sonia Gariaeff. He is currently a student of Belle Bulwinkle.
