COVID Health & Safety Guidelines:
The Maybeck Studio for the Performing Arts is pleased to bring concerts back to our beautiful venue for the 2021-2022 season. It’s important for us to meet or exceed the guidelines set forth by local, regional, state and federal agencies for operating in a COVID-19 environment and therefore we want to inform you of some important changes you’ll notice upon attending a performance at the Maybeck.
The health, safety, and comfortable enjoyment of performances for our guests and artists is important to us. Effective September, 2021, the Maybeck will implement revised venue health and safety proof of vaccination policies for attendees and artists at all future performances. We may revise our policy in the future based on data specific to COVID disease trends in our County. We will update you if any changes are made to our COVID safety policies. We thank you for your patronage, and for your understanding and cooperation.
Venue Operational Protocols:
- Proof of vaccination: For ages 12-and-older, proof of vaccination. Negative test results in advance of a performance date will not be accepted in place of proof of vaccination.
- Masks required for children: Children ages 2-through-11 are exempt from providing proof of vaccination, but a properly fitted face mask must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking.
- Mask-supportive environment: masks must be worn by guests and performers at all times while inside the venue, except while performing on a wind instrument.
We Ask of You:
- If you are sick or not feeling well, please stay home.
- Wash hands often and use hand sanitizer where available.
- We ask for patience and respect as we work diligently to keep our venue safe for our community, guests, artists and employees.
The Maybeck thanks you for your patience and understanding as we transition protocols for our venue. If you are not yet comfortable attending the venue under current protocols, although we will miss your presence, we ask that you consider not attending at this time. Please note, that health and safety protocols may be revised in the future based on data specific to COVID-19 disease trends in our county.
